Job Title: Ice Skate Rink Supervisor (Seasonal - Part Time)) – Winter Wonderland Experience

Position Type: Seasonal (November to January)

Position Overview:

The Ice Skate Rink Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the seasonal Winter Wonderland ice skating rink. This role ensures a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for guests while leading a team of rink attendants. The supervisor will manage staff schedules, enforce safety protocols, coordinate rental and skating activities, and maintain the quality and presentation of the rink area. This position is ideal for a proactive, guest-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced, festive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all rink operations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

• Lead, train, and manage a team of seasonal rink attendants.

• Monitor guest activity on the ice, enforce safety rules, and provide assistance as needed.

• Manage skate rentals, inventory, and returns efficiently.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the rink and surrounding areas.

• Assist with setup and teardown of the rink and related Winter Wonderland attractions.

• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude.

• Collaborate with other Winter Wonderland and hotel teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in guest service, recreation, or event supervision preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment with a focus on safety.

• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Winter Wonderland season.

• CPR/first aid certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and move quickly across the rink area.

• Capable of lifting and carrying equipment up to 25 lbs.
