Job Title: Seasonal F&B Cashier – Winter Wonderland at The Ben Hotel

Department: Outdoor Ice-Skating Experience / Food & Beverage

Reports To: Beverage and Food Manager / Director of Beverage and Food Outlets

Employment Type: Seasonal (November - March)

Job Summary:

Be part of the festive spirit at The Ben Hotel’s Winter Wonderland, featuring West Palm Beach's first outdoor ice-skating rink! We are seeking energetic Seasonal F&B Cashiers to handle guest transactions and assist with maintaining a smooth, enjoyable experience at our exciting ice-skating event. You will be responsible for managing transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling, and providing excellent customer service to all our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and professional service, ensuring guests have a wonderful experience at the Winter Wonderland.
• Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with accuracy and efficiency. Follow proper opening and closing procedures for managing a cash drawer.
• Order Processing: Take and process food and beverage orders from the market, lobby bar, or outdoor stands and ensure timely delivery to guests.
• Engage with Guests: Assist guests in selecting items and answer any questions they may have while ensuring the guest line moves smoothly.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that all areas of the ice-skating experience, including counters and guest tables, are clean and well-maintained. Assist with bussing duties as needed.
• Support Operations: Assist with market stocking, beverage preparation, and maintaining an organized, presentable service area.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the team across various food and beverage outlets and support back-of-house tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Extensive cash handling experience and strong customer service skills required. Experience working with POS systems in a fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform light cleaning duties. No skating required.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage professionally with guests.
