We are Hiring a Lead Cook!

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential to delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, works well with others, and consistently upholds safety and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve food in proper portions using appropriate receptacles
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to prepare a variety of dishes

  • Prepare visually appealing plate and platter presentations

  • Maintain adequate inventory of cooking ingredients and supplies

  • Assist in developing and implementing new menu items

  • Inspect kitchen tools and equipment before and after use to ensure cleanliness and functionality

  • Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and ready for the next meal service

  • Assist with food placement on steam and cold tables, ensuring proper rotation and timing

  • Prepare customized food orders

  • Set up and break down workstations and action stations as needed

  • Wash, peel, portion, chop, and store ingredients properly

  • Provide courteous, prompt, and friendly assistance to guests

  • Verify that food is cooked to the correct quality and quantity standards

  • Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards

  • Label and document all food containers with proper rotation practices per SOP

  • Practice safety standards at all times

  • Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform, ready to serve

  • Collaborate with the supervisor to review performance and adjust goals or objectives

  • Work closely with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask effectively;
  • Knowledge of menu development, costs, and wage control;
  • Skilled in operating various pieces of commercial kitchen equipment;
  • Ability to effectively use senses such as sight, hearing, and smell to distinguish product, taste, texture, and presentation;
  • Must be able to obtain, maintain, and retain a valid gaming license;
  • Ability to read, write, and fills out any necessary paperwork;
  • Ability to use all food preparation equipment;
  • Knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation;
  • Good organizational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, with or without a reasonable accommodation;
  • Culinary degree or certificate;
  • Ability to read and follow established recipes;
  • Cooking experience in a gaming/hotel environment comparable to the EED;
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Available to work any day of the week including mornings, evenings, weekends, & holidays
