We’re excited to announce that we are hiring a Group Sales Manager for the highly anticipated Hilton Jacksonville at Mayo Clinic, and we want you to be part of our opening sales team!

If you have a passion for exceeding hotel sales revenue and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for candidates who bring valuable experience, strong client relationships, experience in Hotel Sales, and the ability to drive business to our high-focus Hilton property.

As a Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and growing hotel business through various sales strategies, including direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, and hotel tours. Your role will focus on driving both guest room bookings and event space sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster Business with proactive and reactive sales efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients with speed and efficiency in returning calls and bookings.
  • Exude proactive planning, organizational skills and keen sense of pricing for overall efficiency of department.
  • Provide excellent follow through on details to account and to hotel departments.
  • Be the face of the hotel as all industry events with property representation of professionalism and character.
  • Work with 3rd party booking sites, Concord revenue management and city convention centers for maximization of key city-wide events.
  • Meet and exceed all monthly revenue and sales calls goals.
  • Documentation of all sales activities in Delphi or similar sales system for tracking and history.
  • Be a team player at all times to assist as needed in the operation of a successful hotel.

    Pay Range: $52,655 - $65,819

    Ideally located on Mayo Clinic campus in Jacksonville, Florida, this 252 room Hilton Jacksonville Mayo Clinic Hotel, offers high-end hotel accommodation to further enhance patients’ experience when traveling to the campus for care. Guests will have access to amenities such as a fitness center, on-site restaurant with room service and an outdoor pool. The hotel will have 16,000 square feet of meeting space, including a main ballroom that can be divided into five spaces, a smaller ballroom that splits into two spaces and three additional meeting rooms, and 5,000 square feet of outdoor patio space. The hotel aims to provide a premier hospitality experience for those visiting the Mayo Clinic, making it a convenient and luxurious option for patients and their families.
