OUR ROLE

We are in search of a warm, friendly, courteous and professional, Night Auditor. Working at the front desk means you are at the hub of the hotel. Your role is key to the overall experience the guest will have. Your keen sense of being proactive, responsive and caring will make all the difference. Key accountabilities include:

Consistently provide the highest quality of service to guests and fellow associates at all times.

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Register guests into the computer, verifying reservations, addresses, and credit information.

Reconcile and complete all daily front office work.

Run night audit procedures in front office system.

Accept payment for guests’ accounts both at the time of registration and checkout.

Answer switchboard in a timely and professional manner.

Handle safe deposit boxes per established procedures.

Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up calls.

Run night audit procedures in front office system. Perform nightly accounting and financial tasks, including balancing and reconciling all accounts.

Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.

Ensure that daily revenues and settlements are in balance.

Ensure that all credit card transactions are recorded correctly and reconciled with POS.

Handle credit card reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.

Have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.

Follow all safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.

YOUR STORY

An experienced professional with a minimum of one year of experience as a Night Auditor, Supervisor or Team Lead in a luxury-branded hotel.

A Hospitality program graduate or degree holder.

Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to safety.

Excellent mathematical abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Someone with strong communication skills – written and verbal.

Someone who places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty.

An exceptional problem-solver, knowing how to troubleshoot and resolve situations efficiently.

Able to remain calm under pressure, multitask and enjoys a fast-changing environment.

Someone with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and prefers to work as part of a team.

Able to work overnight shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Physically able to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, crouch and lift or carry objects up to 40 lbs. or more.
