WHO are we looking for, you may ask?

We are in search of an F&B Supervisor who will demonstrate and ensure the highest level of courteous and efficient service so our guests feel welcome and that their needs are attended to. This position will consistently provide a seamless dining experience for all customers by assisting in overseeing daily operations, supervising the team and ensuring the highest level of service excellence and hospitality.

Key accountabilities include:

Consistently provide the highest quality of service to our customers and staff alike, setting a shining example for our team.

Supervise front of house staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders to ensure efficient service.

Train and mentor team members in customer service best practices and food safety standards.

Plan, supervise and control various operations, working closely and supporting the Food and Beverage Director.

Operate POS (point of sale) and maintain security of system.

Conduct service briefings.

Ensure the correct set up for functions and bookings for the day.

Monitor staff breaks and general time keeping, authorize staff clock in and clock out procedures.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and waiting areas is maintained.

Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to Restaurant General Manager.

Assist in the planning and execution of special events or promotions to attract new customers.

Practice safety standards at all times, leading by example.

WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, ARE YOU …

A seasoned professional with a minimum of one year experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity in a large, upscale Restaurant operation or hotel in a downtown city center.

Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to safety.

Someone who has solid leadership skills, adept at training, coaching and motivating a team of culinary professionals.

An exceptional problem-solver, knowing how to troubleshoot, resolve situations efficiently, with the ability to shift priorities as needed, including handling customer or staff situations.

Able to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communicator who values teamwork and collaboration.

Valid ProServe certification.

Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physically able to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, crouch, and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds or more.
