Description

Concord Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in property engineering, leadership, and maintenance while making a meaningful impact on a high-traffic property. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Train, motivate, and review engineering staff to ensure strong team performance

Perform repairs and routine maintenance of all operating systems

Oversee inventory management, departmental budgeting, safety controls, and annual certifications/licenses

Provide effective communication and updates to the Chief Engineer, General Manager, Concord leadership, and ownership regarding areas of concern

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hotel engineering or property maintenance leadership

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, repairs, and preventative maintenance

Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and compliance requirements

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
