Description

We are hiring an Accounting Clerk! Sunday through Thursday Schedule

Verifies accuracy of invoices entered in the system as to amount, general ledger coding, date, vendor name and address, terms, and proper approval. Enters all necessary changes to postings in accounts payable as directed by the Property Controller.

Responds to vendor inquiries and payment requests promptly.

Maintains complete and accurate paid invoice files by vendor.

Oversees the accounts payable processing in the field.

Processes manual payments as directed by Property Controller, VP/Controller or CFO.

Maintains assigned bank reconciliations on a current basis, as needed.

Reports any significant changes immediately to Property Controller.

Prepares monthly Tax Exemption Log with backup for Upload to Concord Hospitality.

Ensures daily submission of hotel reviews (DIJ).

Posts all charges and rebates.

Contacts clients with past due amounts.

Prepares all invoices with proper backup and ensure daily billings to guests.

Answers all phones and inquiries.

Reviews, corrects, and posts daily revenue journals on a daily basis.

Assists Property Controller with period end financial reports and closings as directed.

Participates in departmental meetings for accounting.

Responsible for generating end of month reports on a timely basis.

General office duties.

Conducts self to reflect the high standards of professionalism within Concord Hospitality.

Learns, understands, and refers to the Standard Operating Procedures.

Follows safety and security procedures and rules.

Follows proper controls in accordance with Concord Assessment of Business Risk (ABR).

Other duties as requested by the Controller, Accounting Manager, and General Manager.
