Together we have two unique experiences, with one address, and one team of hospitality professionals dedicated to being the best in everything we do.
OUR ROLE
The Social Ambassador will create relationships and service experiences with guests that lead to Marriott and property loyalty. Working as a liaison among the Front Desk Associates and Director of Operations, this dynamic and engaging individual will handle requests and create memorable moments for our guests, coordinating and collaborating with other departments to ensure the highest level of satisfaction.
Key accountabilities include:
Consistently provide the highest quality of service to our guests and associates alike, setting a shining example for our team.
Oversee and implement Hotel Guest Experience initiatives and ideas.
Manage all VIP guest arrivals and departure experiences, including pre/post arrival communication, to ensure the highest level of guest experience is constantly provided.
Conduct courtesy calls and implement a system to track guest interactions on a daily basis.
Review daily arrivals and assign appropriate rooms for VIP guests.
Share weekly report of upcoming highlighted guests and groups coming into the hotel, assisting with coordination of itineraries and meet-and-greets on arrival and departure.
Inspect VIP rooms – coordinating with Housekeeping and In-Room Dining to ensure a perfect arrival experience.
Lead and execute the Guest Amenity Program, ensuring quality and timeliness of delivery of amenities to rooms based on guests’ arrival times and preferences.
Seek out opportunities for guest-centric experiences in all outlets of the hotel and assist hotel outlets in putting processes in place to ensure that these opportunities are executed by all associates.
Analyze standards compliance results (through Guestvoice, BSA, Forbes, GXP Champion, glitches, etc.) to identify performance gaps and highlight areas for improvement, making recommendations to management accordingly.
Carry out regular standards training and testing for the Front Office team, ensuring all team members maintain high levels of product knowledge, including property standards, policies and procedures.
Champion internal quality assurance initiatives (e.g. regular room inspections, management walkthroughs of the property, MOD observations), to ensure both the product and service levels match standards and guest expectations.
Be readily available and approachable for all guests, always extending professionalism and courtesy.
Communicate and update goals, surveys and results with operations team.
Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm.
Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
Follow all safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
YOUR STORY
A seasoned professional with a minimum of two years of experience within Rooms Division in luxury-branded hotels.
A Hospitality program graduate or degree holder.
Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to safety.
Someone with strong communication skills – written and verbal.
Able to remain calm under pressure, multitask and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Someone with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and prefers to work as part of a team.
Able to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote positive public relations, and handle concerns, or special requests for guests.
Complete knowledge of Front Office operations.
Able to consistently follow cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures.
The flexibility to work varying schedules as required by the needs of the business including weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays.
Physically able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
