Description
We are hiring a Guest Services Agent
This is a hybrid role combining responsibilities of both a Bellperson and a Concierge. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage handling, valet coordination, and transportation arrangements, while also delivering knowledgeable, proactive concierge services such as dining recommendations, local area guidance, and guest itinerary support. This position requires a warm, welcoming demeanor, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering a memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Bellperson Duties:
Greet arriving guests at the hotel entrance in a courteous and professional manner.
Assist with luggage handling, transportation of items to and from guest rooms.
Provide valet and parking assistance when needed.
Escort guests to rooms, explaining hotel features, amenities, and emergency exits.
Store luggage and manage deliveries and pickups as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front drive area.
Assist with setup for special guest requests and group arrivals/departures.
Concierge Duties:
Provide knowledgeable recommendations on local dining, shopping, attractions, and events.
Arrange for transportation, tours, dining reservations, and other guest requests.
Serve as a local area expert, assisting guests in customizing their stay.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries both in person and over the phone/email.
Maintain an up-to-date concierge book or database with current area information.
Offer thoughtful service that anticipates and exceeds guest expectations.
Maintain strong relationships with local vendors, service providers, and attractions.

Ideally located on Mayo Clinic campus in Jacksonville, Florida, this 252 room Hilton Jacksonville Mayo Clinic Hotel, offers high-end hotel accommodation to further enhance patients’ experience when traveling to the campus for care. Guests will have access to amenities such as a fitness center, on-site restaurant with room service and an outdoor pool. The hotel will have 16,000 square feet of meeting space, including a main ballroom that can be divided into five spaces, a smaller ballroom that splits into two spaces and three additional meeting rooms, and 5,000 square feet of outdoor patio space. The hotel aims to provide a premier hospitality experience for those visiting the Mayo Clinic, making it a convenient and luxurious option for patients and their families.
