We're looking for a Director of Finance who’s ready to dive into a hands-on role and help guide our resort’s financial success.

This is a key leadership position on property, partnering closely with the General Manager and department heads. You’ll manage everything from budgets and payroll to reporting and forecasting—all while helping us stay efficient, profitable, and on track. The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort’s accounting and finance functions. This includes managing financial reporting, internal controls, forecasting, payroll, and procurement. You’ll help ensure the resort operates efficiently, meets financial goals, and stays in compliance with brand, local, and ownership standards.

• Serve as the property’s lead financial representative, reporting directly to the General Manager and resort's ownership.

• Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and budgets; work closely with department leaders to ensure accuracy and alignment with goals.

• Monitor internal controls and procedures to protect the resort’s assets and maintain compliance with Marriott, Concord Hospitality, and local policies.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, accounts payable, receivables, and ledger management.

• Support cost controls, revenue strategies, and profit improvement initiatives across departments.

• Lead or participate in weekly labor and financial meetings, helping teams stay accountable to forecasts and budgets.

• Handle billing, collections, and credit card reconciliations; follow up on outstanding accounts and support guest inquiries when needed.

• Train and support the accounting team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Maintain open communication with ownership, corporate teams, and hotel leaders.

• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, transparency, and fun—because we’re serious about our work, but we enjoy what we do.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA is a plus)

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, in hospitality

• Strong understanding of GAAP, hotel accounting, budgeting, and forecasting

• Experience with hotel systems such as M3, Sage, and Marriott financial tools is preferred

• Ability to lead a team, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with all departments

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management skills
