Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Development: Design and create innovative and seasonal menus that reflect the restaurant’s brand and culinary philosophy. Continuously evolve dishes to stay ahead of culinary trends while maintaining the restaurant’s unique identity.
• Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
• Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards for food quality, hygiene, and safety. Conduct regular inspections and implement best practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Cost Management: Manage kitchen budgets, including food cost, labor, and inventory. Implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste while maintaining high culinary standards.
• Supplier Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the highest quality ingredients. Negotiate contracts and manage inventory to align with menu requirements.
• Customer Experience: Ensure that the culinary experience meets or exceeds guest expectations. Address any feedback or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Innovation and Creativity: Stay current with culinary trends and techniques. Experiment with new ingredients, methods, and presentation styles to keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a high-end, fine dining restaurant with a strong track record of culinary excellence and awards.
• Culinary degree from a recognized institution or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen management.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
