WHO are we looking for, you may ask?

We are in search of a friendly and efficient Housekeeping Lead (Room Checker), responsible for the cleanliness, arrangement and supply of all guest rooms in an assigned section.

Key accountabilities include:

• Provide the highest quality of service to guests and associates at all times.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through room cleanliness and attention to guest needs.
• Clean assigned rooms per day following the Housekeeping Guidelines within an eight-hour workday while maintaining established standards.
• Self-inspect rooms after cleaning.
• Communicate room status to hotel leaders through the day.
• Check fixtures, television, radio, and heating/cooling equipment for proper operation.
• Inspect room for maintenance needs and report on maintenance service requests.
• Log rooms cleaned on daily housekeeping report.
• Fold terry and linen while waiting for rooms.
• Clean, organize, and restock cart at the end of the day (terry, cups, toilet paper, rags, and fill spray bottles).
• Assist in the training of new associates as needed.

WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, ARE YOU …

• An experienced professional with previous cleaning experience in a similar setting.
• Someone with good communication skills, proficient in the English language.
• Someone with a positive attitude.
• Someone who places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty.
• Able to work with a variety of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Understanding of WHMIS.
• Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physically able to bend, lift, push, crouch, stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as able to lift or carry up to 30 lbs.
