As the Housekeeping Manager, you will lead the housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson teams to ensure every guest room and public space reflects the elevated standards of The Ben and the Autograph Collection. This hands-on leader sets the tone for professionalism, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail while fostering a team environment built on respect, communication, and accountability.

This position is exempt and reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping. You will also collaborate closely with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to create a seamless and memorable stay for every guest.

The Housekeeping Manager oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. This position leads and supports the housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson teams, upholding property and brand standards through training, quality control, and a proactive leadership approach. As a key partner to the Front Desk and Maintenance teams, the Housekeeping Manager ensures smooth communication, timely room readiness, and a flawless guest experience from arrival to departure.

This role is exempt and reports to the Director of Housekeeping.

• Lead, train, and mentor housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson teams to achieve high standards of cleanliness and productivity.

• Collaborate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and performance management within the department.

• Implement and maintain cleaning procedures, safety standards, and quality control measures.

• Coach team members, hold them accountable, and support their professional growth.

• Monitor inventory levels, manage departmental supplies, and ensure operational efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with property policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to uphold quality and consistency.

• Foster a positive, respectful, and teamwork-driven departmental culture.

• Leadership experience in hotels, hospitals, or multi-unit housing as a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, managers, and team members.

• Proven ability to lead a team, drive results, and promote engagement.

• Ability to multitask, remain organized, and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
