Wage Range: $22.00–$26.40 per hour

Are you ready to grow your career in Human Resources while making a meaningful impact every day? Join our two-person HR team at the Capital Hotel, where you will work side-by-side with the Director of Human Resources to support our associates and drive excellence across all HR functions.

• Recruiting & Onboarding: Manage job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support new hire onboarding including documentation, locker assignments, and system setup.

• Benefits & Leave Administration: Assist with insurance enrollment, track leave and claims (OSHA, Workers’ Comp, Unemployment), and process tuition reimbursement.

• HR Operations & Engagement: Greet associates, maintain HR supplies, support monthly recognition and community initiatives, update communication boards, and attend HR-related meetings.

• Payroll & Compliance Support: Help with payroll tasks, missed punch entries, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance with employment policies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Guest service-oriented with a positive, approachable demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Experience with UKG Recruiting.
• Interviewing experience and comfort with scheduling and coordination.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Professional discretion in handling confidential information.
