Description
We are hiring a Benefits Coordinator!
The Benefits Coordinator provides comprehensive support to the Vice President of Total Rewards and the Director of Compensation and Benefits in the administration of company benefit programs. This role will serve as a key point of contact for corporate team members and will ensure the smooth operation and accuracy of benefits processes across U.S. and Canadian operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of U.S. and Canadian benefit offerings to effectively answer associate inquiries and direct them appropriately.
- Approve life events in the UKG system for associate benefits changes.
- Upload Canadian RRSP/DPSP contribution files to SunLife for retirement savings.
- Complete monthly billing for Group-Term Life, LTD, STD, Voluntary Life, Critical Care, and FML.
- Distribute monthly administrative billing to each hotel, ensuring accuracy and working with hotels to resolve discrepancies.
- Send weekly enrollment reports to Horizon’s Research for new health plan enrollees.
- Conduct bi-weekly review of arrears reports; notify hotels of outstanding associate balances.
- Perform bi-weekly reviews of incomplete life events and follow up with properties to ensure completion.
- Complete bi-weekly beneficiary audits to ensure every associate has a listed beneficiary.
- Complete bi-weekly beneficiary audits to ensure every associate has a listed beneficiary.
- Audit offer letters for exempt/non-exempt managers to confirm correct classification is reflected in UKG.
- Update and maintain Payfactors with new/terminated users and monthly wage data.
- Act as liaison between properties and Unum for STD and LTD claims.
- Respond to benefits-related inquiries through Freshdesk ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.

- Ensure all benefit-related content on the intranet (e.g., orientation PowerPoints, benefit guides) is current and accessible.
- Support special projects related to benefits or Total Rewards as assigned by corporate leadership.

Pay range: $17.29 – $21.00
