We are hiring a Director of Sales & Marketing for our Hyatt Centric, French Quarter, New Orleans.

Located in the French Quarter, this property offers 254 rooms and suites that are bold and inviting, and are filled with modern comforts, upscale perks and the latest technology.

We are seeking an experienced full service hotel sales leader who has a proven track record of effectively leading teams and developing solid relationship with customers and hotels owners.

The DOSM will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide the highest quality of service to our customers at all times.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
  • Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
  • Guide sales and marketing efforts as well as advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting.
  • Define and implement sales and marketing activities according to the Marketing Plan.
  • Prioritize, document, and organize work to meet deadlines .
  • Lead and develop a high-quality sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Prior Director of Sales Experience (5+ years) in a full-service or luxury hotel property.
  • Hyatt experience desirable.
  • Heavy marketing experience.
  • Experience as a Director of Sales in the NOLA market preferable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial and competitive data to make informed decisions.
  • Prior experience leading, motivating and managing successful sales teams.

Pay Range: $102,610 - $128,263
