Description

We are hiring a Director of Engineering at Norfolk Waterside Marriott. We are in search of a dynamic leader with expertise in Engineering to oversee all Engineering efforts executed in our hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage capital and operating budgets.
• Hire, lead, and mentor a team of Maintenance Technicians.
• Oversee inventory management, department budgeting, safety controls, annual certifications/licenses.

  Capital planning.

• Maintain room quality based on Westin franchise standards and Concord standards, providing the highest quality of

  customer service at all times.

• Ensure fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs, develop, and maintain pm schedule (laundry equipment,

  air conditioning units, ice machines, fire/smoke alarms, lawn sprinklers, fire equipment, plumbing, etc).

• Repair and routinely maintain all hotel operating systems.
• Manage and repair HVAC and associated parts as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with Hotel General Manager, Concord, and hotel ownership on areas of concern within the

  hotel.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000
