SUMMARY:  This position will be based out of our reservations call center selling the full customer experience to all in-bound callers.   You will answer phones and emails while assisting customers in booking suitable reservations for our hotel. A reservations agent will accurately record customer information, including payment information, and advise customers on available upgrades or specials that may enhance their experience with us. You help customers in altering or canceling reservations, as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in making reservations for their requested hotels.
  • Stay proficient in upsell strategies as well as saving the sale in the event of cancellation.
  • Engage in outbound upsell opportunities as directed Become proficient with systems including, but not limited to, ihotelier, and HMS.
  • Maintain confirmation and special requests as needed.
  • Enter group block reservations as directed and as call volume allows.
  • Respond to emails with reservation information, confirmations, and additional details.
  • Advise customers regarding ongoing promotions or available upgrades that may enhance their experience.
  • Answer questions regarding rooms, facilities, rates, and events.
  • Accurately record customer information and charge credit cards upon successful reservations.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests by Management that you are capable of performing.
